My name is Joseph Todaro and I am the Founder of JST Business Solutions, Inc.

JST Business Solutions is a Full Service Consulting Firm that was created to assist people looking to start up a small business, expand and grow their already existing business, and to help attain financing for those flourishing business that want to go public.

I came up with the idea of JST Business Solutions shortly after taking a small advertising business in which I started with nothing out of my old 3 bedroom apartment. It is now a multi-million dollar operation.

The hardest part was getting started. The amount of planning that goes into starting a new business venture can be overwhelming. I just bore down and did it. It was my opinion that many people have the Entrepreneurial Spirit, yet most people are afraid to bring it out.

In my experience with people who work for someone else, most wished they were in charge of their own destiny. What I found they lacked was one thing….Courage! I know so many people who are so smart, so skilled, so motivated that if they took the initiative, they can be earning double or even triple what they make now.

After 5 years as a Stockbroker, I felt that it was time for a change in careers. I had only taken a few years of college, yet never got a degree. However, the classes I did excel in were Business Management and Administration. As a Stockbroker, if you didn't have a 4 year degree, working for a reputable Brokerage Firm was almost impossible. After seeing several of the Brokerage Firms I work for fold after several months in business, I figured it was time for a change.

I was torn about leaving a profession I had given so much time and energy. I had my Series 7 License which was supposed to be my ticket to "Millionaire Status". I had several other licenses which allowed me to act as a Supervisor. I studied so hard to pass the strenuous exams. I had to make a decision. Do I try one more time, or do I cut my losses and try something else!

I took a job with a small advertising company shortly thereafter. It was a way to pay my bills while I figured what I wanted to be when I grew up. The job was not what I had pictured myself doing for the rest of my life. Every day was a struggle with the direction my life was going.

It was at this job when my vision became clearer. The first thing I had to do was accept what I was doing. The job was steady money, so that took the pressure off of living paycheck to paycheck. I gave into the fact that this is "What I do". It was time to master the skill.

In my 3 years with that organization, I learned every aspect of the business. To my credit, I was always ambitious enough in life to move up in every job that I had, and such was the case here. I was given a promotion to management around the same time the owner of the company was battling terminal cancer.

When I was told his life expectancy was only a year, maybe more, I felt it was time to take control of my own destiny. I was tired of wondering where I was going to be after the future of this company is now uncertain. I didn't want to "start over" again.

At the time I left my job to start my own business, I was making a very comfortable six figure salary with benefits. The job was the steadiest I ever had. My family and friends thought I was crazy. My mind was set. I took the risk!

Needless to say I endured some of the greatest hardships of starting a new business. I will admit there were many days and nights I wish I never started. It was a struggle to say the least. The only thing that kept me going was my determination to make it on my own and to survive the first 3 years.

After my 3 year anniversary, my company was now considered existing, and we had a steady revenue stream. As I looked to obtain financing to take my company to the next level, I was contacted by my former mentor who taught me everything I knew about the business. Coincidentally, he had just purchased my former company from the previous owner who was at the end of his battle with cancer. My career had gone full circle!

I got the idea of starting JST Business Solutions when I realized people were coming to me for advice with their existing businesses. Multi-Millionaires were looking up to me! I found myself in an element where I truly felt I belonged. Of course I enjoyed the money, but the thrill of watching a project succeed was equally rewarding.
